About the temple
Nestled in the scenic expanse of Kharghar, ISKCON's Sri Sri Radha Madan Mohanji Temple, at the heart of the Glory of Maharashtra Project, spans over 8 acres. This cultural and Vedic educational canter promises an extraordinary experience that goes beyond the ordinary concept of a temple. It is poised to illuminate communities in areas like Vashi, Sanpada, Nerul, C.B.D. Belapur, Kharghar, Kamote, Khandeshwar, Panvel, Thane, Kalyan, Dombivali, and Ulhasnagar with its multifaceted mission. This includes imparting moral, cultural, and value-based Vedic education, promoting spiritual knowledge from the teachings of Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam, and fostering unity among society members.
But beyond being an architectural marvel, this project envisions a sanctuary promoting coexistence, eco-friendliness, and compassion. Through Vedic education and the "Food for Life" program, it strives to uplift the underprivileged, aligning its noble vision with the broader purpose of spreading unity, knowledge, and spiritual awakening in the world
